The Wanderlust Series
Sometimes the biggest risk of all is not taking one
When planning-junkie Penelope Marsh sets off to study in Spain for the year, she hopes the trip will give her the push she needs to step outside of her meticulously planned, color-coded comfort zone. Only once she arrives, it’s not long before she’s back to her old routine, and when her friends stage an intervention and her long-distance boyfriend dumps her for someone more spontaneous, Pen decides it’s time to stop seeing the world from the comfort of her apartment balcony and accepts a last minute invitation to Oktoberfest.
When the trip puts her up close and personal with Dewey Reece, an improv actor with a killer smile and disastrous Spanish accent who always gives up his seat for old ladies on the bus, Pen’s determined to learn a thing or two about how to get comfortable with the unknown. But when they return home to San Sebastian, despite their undeniable chemistry, Pen’s not sure if she can live in his constant state of undeclared.
