I write paranormal cozy mysteries, cozy romantasy, and holiday romance where magical elements fall into everyday situations and characters figure it out with a lot of heart (and usually some snacks).

Jessica Arden grew up spending her allowance on Baby-sitters Club and Christopher Pike books and still loves to read and write about friendships, real life struggles, love, and all things spooky.
Now she writes paranormal cozy mysteries, cozy romance, and fantasy romance, usually with a supernatural twist. Her book Once Ghosted, Twice Shy drops readers into the middle of a New Orleans ghost tour operation with a mystery to solve, a romance to root for, and a hedgehog named Auguste who has appointed himself lead detective. (He's very serious about it.)
When she's not writing, Jessica is collecting tarot decks, burrowing down her latest research rabbit hole, and hanging with her community of kindred spirits.
She lives outside Sacramento, California with her husband, two teenage boys, and a very boisterous German Shepherd puppy named Asta who has not yet learned impulse control.
Jessica's short fiction has appeared in Woman's World and multiple anthologies. She also teaches and creates resources for writers as Jessica Arden Cline, because helping people bring their stories to life is one of her favorite things.
