The Ghosted Cozy Mysteries and The Skeptic's Guide to Love romances are set in the same New Orleans ghost tour universe, and you might catch a familiar face or two if you read both, but each series stands completely on its own. Collide and The Naughty List are standalones that can be read anytime.

They share the same New Orleans ghost tour universe. The Skeptic's Guide to Love duet follows the Deveaux cousins, who run Deveaux's Historical Haunts ghost tours, where Paige works as the gift shop manager. The Ghosted series is set in the same world with a new cast of characters. You'll catch some familiar faces if you read both, but each series stands completely on its own.

Cozy. Think warm and swoony, not steamy. There's plenty of chemistry, tension, kisses and emotional payoff, but the bedroom door stays closed. If you like your romance heavy on banter and feelings with a low spice level, you're in the right place.

Auguste is fictional, but his personality is very real. He's named after C. Auguste Dupin, the detective from Edgar Allan Poe's "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" — widely considered the first modern detective story. Auguste takes his namesake very seriously. He also has strong opinions about beignets.
